A STORY WITH A MORAL
A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his Customer,
"This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you."
The barber puts a five dollar note in one hand and two one dollar note(1+1=2) in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, "Which do you want, son?"The boy takes the two one dollar note and leaves."What did I tell you?" said the barber. "That kid never learns!"Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store. "Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take two one dollar note instead of five dollar note?"
The boy licked his cone and replied,"Because THE DAY I TAKE THE FIVE DOLLAR NOTE, THE GAME IS OVER"
Moral:
When you think the other person is dumb, you are making a fool of yourself.

"You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note" mean?
Quote:
"Harmony is diversity. In music it is different notes that sound good together. In life it means that people are different, they approach problems and questions from different directions, but they find a way to work together, to settle their differences, to cooperate and work together towards shared goals.
There are people who believe that we can never have peace and brotherhood until everyone has the same religion (their own, of course) and the same political philosophy. That would be everyone singing the same note. But it would not be harmony. Harmony is when people can believe what they believe but have open minds, find common ground, and work together to get beyond one another's differences."source: yahoo.answers.com
well, let me put it this way.
A family is consists of parents and their children. The parents set the rule in which the children must obey. These rules are the note that they sing in the house. None of the children are allowed to break the note and in the end, they would live how their parent did. Whatever the parent do and teach in the family, sometime it would cause a stir between the relationships of the family because not all the children obey the note. Maybe one or two will have their own way of thinking and they would always try to break the note. When everyone in the family is singing the same note, or following the same rule, then there would only be harmony of silence but not the true harmony in life. Everybody is in fear of causing trouble and not dare to take any risk to make life better.
